LIFEGUARDING

We are focused on saving lives. Maranui SLSC's dedicated team of volunteer lifeguards patrol Wellington City beaches to ensure the safety of beach-users.

LIFEGUARD SPORT

Once Junior Surf athletes reach the age of 14 and become qualified lifeguards they can participate in Lifeguard Sport at regional carnivals and national level.

JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT

The Junior Surf Programme, previously known as Nippers, is a fun introduction to surf skills and water safety for children aged 6 to 13 years.

Since 1911, Maranui Surf Life Saving Club has been a prominent feature of the Lyall Bay landscape. Despite challenges big and small, it's a club that has truly stood the test of time.
