Maranui SLSC is a fun, family-friendly environment where school children make friends, be active and enjoy the beach in a safe environment.  ​Junior Surf is all about getting our kids Surf Confident, Surf Competent and SURF SAFE. Junior surf has one main purpose and that is to grow our lifeguards of the future.

MARANUI SUBSCRIPTIONS 2023 / 2024 

Invoices are emailed out by Patricia Kelly (Maranui Finance Manager).

Please see below the Maranui subscriptions for this upcoming season.

U7s - $60 (+ Mandatory Red Hi-Vis safety vest $25.00 for new members)
Juniors (U8s - U14s) - $120 (+ Mandatory Red Hi-Vis safety vest $25.00 and Competition Beanie $15 for new members)
Active and Patrolling Lifeguard - $85 (issued a Lifeguard uniform and includes training) + (Red Hi-vis vest - $25 & Competition Beanie - $15 - if competing)
Associate - $85  
Family - $330 three or more members of the same family household - capped

PLEASE NOTE:  All NEW members need to purchase a Red Hi-vis vest and a Competition Beanie.

ADDITIONAL COST: 
Hi-Vis Vest $25 (Red Vest) and Competition Beanie $15 

• All club members need to purchase and wear a hi-vis vest when training and competing, as these are mandatory.

• If you have lost your Competition beanie or hi-vis vest you will have to order a replacement.

​

Pink vests can be purchased by clubbies to wear for training, to keep their red vests for Carnivals.

NEW TO SURF LIFESAVING?

SLSNZ REGISTRATION

Anyone joining Maranui Surf Lifesaving Club must register with Surf Life Saving New Zealand.

All members need to be registered on the SLSNZ portal so we can enter athletes for carnivals and courses. There is no cost to do this, and you only ever do this once per child/person. Every member receives a unique SLSNZ number.

Please Note: We are unable to enter athletes into carnivals if they are not registered via the SLSNZ portal.
